 History of Lineage? |

So is there a background to the game? Like perhaps the humans are descendants of today?
I ask because I noticed on the enlarged maps of fortresses and such the backgrounds is the Declaration of Independence. So either there is a history...or the developers of the game were too lame to create their own parchment background.

I'm gonna guess that since there isn't cars or planes that they were lazy fucks.
