Weclome Home Friends....

Welcome home! I bet your glad to be back. After a few days of trying out Xfire, and from some of the comments made about a switch of the sites to the Xfire Clan site, I've decided this is our home. Thank you for all your critisizm, it really opened my eyes up a bit. To me this was always 'just a website'. But now I know its more than that, for me, and especailly for all of you. Within just the past few days I have relized that you all really enjoyed this site. Its HOOD. Its original. Its home. It wasn't until then that I relized how much long and hard work I put into making this site look, feel, and even work good (minus the spelling and gamatikal errors - hey, it wouldn't be me if it was all spelled right). Though I had/have become bored with it in a way, theres always room for improvement. I guess I thought I could take an easier road. But honestly I love doing this shit, so I will continue to do so. It just didn't occure to me until today. It really meant alot to me hear you all complain your asses off cause it 'wasn't as good as this site'. Thanks for that. And becuase of that we are home now.

But don't you get to comfortable. I am still planning on switching to phpbb3, or something combatable that will let me customized shit the way I want, and still be semi clean and easy to use. But that won't be for at least a month or longer. Whenever. The spammers are still not getting through and thats the big things. What alot of you dont see is that I have an anti-bot spam mod added into this site keeping out automatic bot registrations and posts. They are bad, even with when the site was redirected to another place we still got hit about 100 times a day with bot registrations (it logs it for us in the admin section). Today, none are still getting through. However, with phpbb2 not getting anymore updates its only a matter of time before someone gets through and wipes it out (thats what happens with free software when you don't updare).

Also, on another note, I truly hope you will all use Xfire. Though I don't like the clan forums, I still think Xfire is an awesome program for keeping in contact with one another, seeing where we are, and building stats. I'm hoping that we might even generate some new friends from that community. I will keep our Xfires homepage set up and updated (so if your reading this and have not signed up please download, register and runXfire and apply to become a part of our Xfire Community. But this will be our home. We need to be able to post drive by sweaters, videos, and be the post stat whores that we are. I'm sorry I almost took the fun away.

Again, I appologize for any panic inflicted damage that may have caused you to slit your wrists. We will still use Xfire, but our main site will be here. A place that we will always call home. Our own site. Clan HOOD.

EDIT: All posts on the Xfire site will be deleted in 2 days. If there is something you need to transfer over, do it before than. Thanks.

Ahh man, it is good to be back, even though i did figure out how to post LoLCatz in the Xfire forums for Klown...

but I for one will still use Xfire and have it up and runnin when im sitting at my puter wether ingame or not.

and btw Ryndog, good choice of music for the comeback. It was a nice surprise when i opened my browser to see the old HOOD page back as my home page again.

unless you got alot of stuff running in the backgroudn, virus scanners, MSN Msgr, Vid card stuff, stuff like that you should not notice any preformance hits with Xfire running, basicly anything over 2g of ram and you should be fine

We've done that in the past too. I am planning on setting up a thread over at SpokLAN for the "retro gaming" times and what everyone would like to play. Most older games are directory dumpable too... so that helps.

well this is nice, i thought i had been seperated from hood forever, seeing as how i dont like using programs like xfire Razz

Never, ever, ever, shall we change homes and if for some reason we do I will be back cursing the sons of beaches who do this and will pay through the nose to bring www.clanhood.com back, and then convince RynDog to do all the work on the site... since really... no one else can do what he has done!

Thanks bro, and continue the hard work, I truly appreciate it, tho it seems I've disappeared for the most part.
